Coventry is Transportation Sponsor for OEMC

Coventry Connections will be the official Transportation Sponsor of the 2025 Ontario East Municipal Conference (OEMC).
“OEMC is the longest running, annual regional municipal conference held in eastern Ontario,” says Coventry Connections CEO Marc Andre Way. “Coventry is honoured to assist organizers in delivering an event designed to help everyone provide needed resources like para-transit and accessible services to residents.”

Conference events will take place at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre from the evening of Tuesday, September 16 to Friday, September 19th. Coventry is providing shuttle service to participants travelling to downtown Ottawa, and a 10 per cent in-app discount for delegates using the BlueLine Taxi app.
“Regulated Taxi services which are fully insured and municipally regulated are the best, safest, and easiest option for municipal officials,” points out Way, who was successful in a key 2024 court decision which found that Ottawa was “negligent” in not enforcing its existing by-laws against rideshare companies.
