LCBO employees now testing positive for COVID-19 on a daily basis

Employees at Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO)  outlets are testing  positive for COVID-19 on a daily basis, according to the LCBO website.

In every instance, the employee is described as “self-isolating” at home,” and the LCBO wishes them all well.

STATEMENT ON LCBO EMPLOYEES TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Wednesday May 12, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Store #255 in Milton (14 Main Street East). The last shift worked in store was on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
  • Store #445 in Oakville (2501 Oak Walk Drive). The last shift worked in store was on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Tuesday, May 11, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at store# 1 in Toronto (2625D Weston Road) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was Sunday, May 2, 2021. The employee is self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.

Sunday May 9, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19. The employees are self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.

  • Store #436 in Mississauga (7205 Goreway Drive). The last shift worked in store was on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
  • Store #124 in Niagara-On-The-Lake (20 Queen Street). The last shift worked in store was on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Saturday, May 8, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at Store #490 in Mississauga (7640 Tecumseh Road East) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Friday, May 7, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at Store #660 in Toronto (2963 Kingston Road) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Thursday, May 6, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at Store #177 in Toronto (22 Poyntz Avenue) has tested positive for COVID-19.

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Store #383 in Vaughan (9970 Dufferin Street). The last shift worked in store was on Friday, April 30, 2021.
  • Store #470 in Brampton (31 Worthington Avenue). The last shift worked in store was on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Tuesday, May 4, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Store #326 in Waterdown (74 Dundas Street East). The last shift worked in store was on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
  • Store #586 in Niagara Falls (5389 Ferry Street). The last shift worked in store was on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Monday, May 3, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at Store #425 in Mississauga (1125 Bloor Street East) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Sunday, May 2, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • One team member who worked at Store #195 (1900 Eglinton Avenue East) and store #13 (1145 Danforth Avenue) in Toronto. The last shifts worked in store were on Monday, April 26, 2021 and Tuesday, April 27, 2021 respectively.
  • Store #490 in Windsor (7640 Tecumseh Road East). The last shift worked in store was on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

  • Store #163 in Toronto (3111 Danforth Avenue). The last shift worked in store was on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Friday, April 30, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19.

  •  Store #453 in Newmarket (17365 Leslie Street). The last shift worked in store was on Monday, April 26, 2021. This is further to media advisories on April 23and April 24 informing of previous confirmed cases.
  •  Store #207 in Toronto (250 The East Mall). The last shift worked in store was on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. This is further to a media advisory on April 18informing of previous confirmed case.

Thursday, April 29, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at store #481 in Burlington (1235 Fairview Street)  has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

When the first LCBO employee tested positive on March 27th, 2020, the LCBO indicated that “As a precautionary measure, this retail location will be closed to the public while deep cleaning takes place.”

Description of cleaning measures in the May 6th, 2021 release is “The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.”
