Toronto extends Net Zero Working Group application deadline to October 9

The City of Toronto has extended the deadline for those wishing to join the Vehicle for Hire Net Zero Working Group from October 2nd to October 9th.
Applicants who had already submitted their application received this email on Tuesday, October 4th:
“We are writing to confirm that we have received your application to participate in the Vehicle-for-Hire Net Zero Working Group. We have extended the deadline for applications by one week, until October 9th. After this date, we will review the eligibility of applicants, and you can expect to hear from us about your application during the week of October 10th. Those who are accepted to participate in the working group will also be provided more information about the first meeting date.

Toronto’s website notes, “The City is looking for members from across Toronto’s vehicle-for-hire industry and relevant stakeholders to join the Vehicle-for-Hire Net Zero Working Group. The working group is anticipated to meet five times between October 2022 and February 2023. Review the Terms of Reference to learn more about the group and the expected time commitment.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the online application form . The application deadline has been extended to October 9.
