As if the struggling taxi industry needed this. Talk about getting kicked in the teeth while on the ground. All being well, the travelling public’s short-term memory will enable this matter to fade sooner than later.
As for cash, all service providers, regardless, should accept it with the same gratitude they give those who use plastic. I love finding myself in the grocery line-up, where the customer ahead of me, invariably an older individual, insists on paying by coin of the realm, and watching the eyes of others roll, accompanied by deep sighs.
