GTA Towing Restricted Zone program has NOT been launched yet
On October 12, 2021, Road Warrior News published an article titled “Restricted towing zones pilot to allow only authorized towing companies.” The article referenced and linked to the Province of Ontario Ministry of Transportation website which presented the Restricted Towing Zone pilot in the present tense, leaving readers with the impression that the program was currently operational.
In fact, the Restricted Towing Zone pilot project is not currently in effect and will not be launched until approximately January, 2022.
Road Warrior News regrets this error and any confusion it may have caused.
