Gordie Howe memorabilia auction at TTSAO event

Silent auction will accompany the Gordie Howe Bridge update on February 29

A selection of Gordie Howe memorabilia will be available by silent acution at the 2024 TTSAO Conference on February 29th.


“Our theme is ‘take a quantum leap into the future,’ and the Gordie Howe International Bridge is going to be a fantastic illustration of this,” says Philip Fletcher, president of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO). “Our keynote speaker is Heather Grondin of the Gordie Howe Bridge project, bringing updates and information on the official opening of the bridge next year.”

Proceeds of the silent auction will go to fund creation of educational materials in support of Truckers’ personal safety in potentially dangerous or violent situations, including a video currently in production by Cupid’s Sting and the Women’s Trucking Federation of Canada.

The conference this year will be held once again at the Lion’s Head Golf and Country Club in Brampton with a conference room package available at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Toronto Mississauga.

Ontario’s Minister of Transportation Prabmeet Sarkaria has confirmed his attendance and will bring greetings.

Illustrating one of the first and most important quantum leaps of 2024, Caleb Krahn of DriverVerified will share information on the recent “Heavy G” training program launched jointly by TTSAO and DriverVerified.

PJ Barkley of Impirica Solutions will present the newest information on the ExceleRATE proactive driver risk evaluation program and also DriveABLE a tool that measures cognitive impairment of medically at-risk drivers.
