CCF in court over Emergencies Act arguing that the federal government should reach a different conclusion than POEC did

“We’ve had the Rouleaux commission, which did not have a formal ruling, but they issued a report. It was very a disappointing report, that found that the use of that legislation was justified, but the report did say that ‘another reasonable decision maker could reach a different conclusion.’ We are arguing that the Federal Court should reach such a different conclusion.”
