Solicitor General not anticipating border problems as American Truckers arrive to support Convoy

On a video teleconference held January 25th with Mayor Sarnia Bob Bailey, MPP for Sarnia-Lambton, and Pamela Mizuno, Windsor Police Chief, Solicitor Sylvia Jones said she did not anticipate any traffic slowdowns in the areas where American Truckers are crossing the borders.

Ontario is not expecting American Truckers crossing the border to support Canadian Truckers involved in the Freedom Convoy 2022 are not expected to present any problem, Ontario’s Solicitor General Sylvia Jones says.

“In ongoing conversations with Minister Mulroney, it is my understanding that MTO does not anticipate at this time, any slow ups in the provincial highways where the transport trucks are traveling.

Convoy’s GoFundMe is NOT frozen, contrary to media reports: “We are just looking into it” 680 News says

Around 11am Tuesday January 25th, 680 News in Toronto reported, apparently erroneously, that GoFundMe had seized the assets of the Freedom Convoy 2022 until organizers provided more transparency on how the funds would be spent.

However, after that 680 news report and at the time of this posting, the GoFundMe account is NOT frozen and is still accepting donations.

Truckers’ “3ZB” protests remind Canadians what politicans fear to say: my body, my choice

Convoys are springing up across the nation to protest COVID mandates. As Canada Unity’s Brandon Austin told John Oakley on 640 News, “These events are for everyone who wants to protest vaccine mandates. Truckers, non-truckers, men, women, people that were born here, people that immigrated here, ANYONE who wants to protest vaccine mandates. We do not discriminate.”

He made a perfect statement, one that should be embraced by every Canadian. It WAS embraced by every Canadian, back in the B.C. era (Before Covid).

Blue Line Taxi driver killed in Oshawa shooting was “one of the best”

The victim in a shooting in Oshawa on January 21, 2022 was a Taxi driver for Blue Line Taxi.

Marc Andre Way, President and CEO of Coventry Connections which runs Blue Line Taxi in Durham, spoke with Road Warrior News at around 7pm to confirm that it was a Blue Line driver who was shot.

“He was a great guy, one of the best,” Way said sadly. “Everyone in the office is just shocked and saddened. He has been with us a long time, many years, and everyone had the greatest respect for him. This is terrible.”

What’s happening at the US border on January 22nd? It may be dramatic

Searching fruitlessly for any mention of the words “COVID” or “vaccine” in CBW #56, I was amazed and amused to come across the above introduction to an opinion by Judge Vaden. He is writing on a lawsuit brought against Porche Motorsport North American Inc. by the United States government, Slip Op. 21–176, Page 33 of the bulletin.

Turns out, Team Porche has been trying to pull a fast one on US Customs by crossing and re-crossing the border between Canada and the US with a giant trailer full of products and parts required by teams on the racing circuit. While it appears Porche was replenishing the trailer often, it was not accurately claiming the value of product on the trailer to US border agents.
