Taxi industry media pros share tips, cautions

Two of Canada’s most social Taxi industry professionals will share tips with associates on March 28th.

Kristine Hubbard, Operations Manager at Beck Taxi in Toronto and Layna Segall, Social Media Manager for Checker Cabs in Calgary will both give presentations on what they have found works – and what does not work – in paid and earned media for the Taxi industry.

Segall, who co-ordinates paid advertising for Checker in addition to keeping social media feeds full of good news and highlights, says the “Movember” graphic used last November to support mens’ cancer research received a lot of feedback:

“Several taxi companies reached out to ask which agency we are using,” she told Taxi News. Segall will bring those and other details to the CTA Zoom webinar, March 28th at 2:30pm.

Hubbard has been behind Beck’s paid and earned advertising for years, including sponsorship at the Toronto International Film Festival and a notable appearance on “Undercover Boss.”
