Justin Trudeau’s secret weapon is Donald Trump
By Lindsay Prescott
While almost 80 per cent of Canadians voters say they want Justin Trudeau to quit, he thinks he can win the next election by running against Donald Trump if he is elected US President on November 5th.
He told the rebels in his Liberal caucus last week that he will paint Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre as “Trump Lite” to turn a Liberal sure defeat into a win next year.
Trudeau will accuse Poilievre of wanting to ban abortions, among other issues, despite the fact that the Conservative leader has said several times that he will not.
He will also accuse Conservatives of protecting Chinese Communist sympathizers, contradicting Canada’s Intelligence Service which said its Senior Liberals who were compromised by the Chinese government, not Conservatives.
As Jody Wilson-Raybould, the Aboriginal woman Trudeau fired from his Cabinet for standing up to him, said in her book: “He would so casually lie to the public and then think he could get away with it.”
Many Canadians now agree with her.
She also fought with his senior staff at the time, Katie Telford and Gerald Butts.
And they are still around like dirty shirts as the main “yes men” and cheerleaders around Trudeau who are convincing him to run again.
Even worse, Trudeaus new campaign manager for the next election, Andrew Bevan, is a proven loser.
Bevan was Chief of Staff to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and told her she could win again when more than two thirds of Ontario voters wanted a change.
As a result, Ontario Liberals had their worst showing ever, losing Party status and only electing 8 MPPs.
Bevan was Wynne’s number one yes man when everyone else including long time Cabinet Ministers told her she should quit.
And he was also Chief of Staff to Stephane Dion leading Dion to a humiliating defeat Federally.
Quite a track record!
Trudeau should go now to save the Liberal Party of Canada from a near death experience.
Instead, he thinks “Its my Party and I can Kill it if I Want to.”
Well-respected former Deputy Liberal Prime Minister John Manley was recently asked if Baby Trudeau should run again.
His reply: “I have a Seinfeld rule about politics. He was on the air for nine years and it was time to quit. The same with politicians.”
