Wienhold offers a defense of one-way streets
Retired Hamilton cab driver Hans Wienhold launches an informal discussion about the beauty of one-way streets in his new YouTube video. Please be warned, readers may find it offensive (“moving at the speed of a female cyclist”) or rational (“God did not make men and women equal – General Motors did”) or both.
“Politicians may ramble on about their dedication to safety, their dedication to safety as a motive for their decisions to create gridlock, but their decision to convert safe one-way streets into two-way chaos belies their insincere pontifications,” he notes, adding, “Open the window.”
