Trucker provides Elon Musk clear report example
“Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation”
American federal bureaucrats sent into a tizzy last week by a request to explain what they do at work have been offered guidance by Trucker Jake Logan.
On February 22nd, Elon Musk posted a message about the email on X, formerly Twitter:
“Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week,” said the post. “Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.”
Since then, conversation and media stories about whether and why it could be difficult for any employee to have difficulty explaining what they do all have filled the airwaves. On February 24th, Musk re-tweeted “Real Trucker” Jake Logan, who provided a clear example of how to get it done:
“Dear US government workers,
Last week, I worked 63 hours.
I drove 2600 miles.
I delivered 130,000 gallons of fuel.
See how easy that was?
Sincerely, Jake Logan, American trucker”
