Ottawa-Uber court decision press conference clips

The law in Canada is to be obeyed by everyone, including “Big Tech” firms and municipalities which write laws, said plaintiff Marc Andre Way. He spoke at a May 13th press conference held following Justice Marc Smith’s decision that Ottawa was negligent in not enforcing its laws against Uber when it arrived in 2014.

“It’s a great decision for the industry and the Rule of Law”

“Uber subsidized rides…they bought the market”

“Other cities are going to reading this decision very closely”
