One more day

There’s a phrase going around on social media which in my opinion is probably the finest meaningful phrase I’ve ever heard.

In a time where self gratification seems to tower over empathy, kindness , faith ,Hope and love. Its seems so easy in this climate of ‘ get the other guy before he gets you’, to lose sight of those who are just treading water. Just hanging on and more importantly are losing a reason to hang on.

The phrase is simple.: STAY ONE MORE DAY.

We cant know what someone is going through. Often they put the mask on to fool us into thinking everything is fine. Yet in their solitude, they struggle to find a reason to hang on. Sadly for many in this day and age of conflict not just on the political front, but the local community and the home front, they have convinced themselves that the rivers of hope, faith and love have run dry.

Prove them wrong. You may not be able to fix their world but maybe you might convince them to do one thing. One small thing to buy them some time and make them reconsider their options.

When you talk to someone. When you see that shade of hopelessness in their eye. Tell them one simple thing.

Tell them to STAY ONE MORE DAY.
