Is it spring yet? Kyle Marshall of Visser’s Sod Farm spent most of February refurbishing one of the go-to watering trucks: “New LED flashing lights, brake lights, LED reverse lights, sandblasted and new paint …ready to rock for another year. I’m happy with how it turned out,” he says. Visser’s farm is located on over 700 acres in Durham, and is one of the first farms to start harvesting sod in the spring and the last to stop in the fall.
Marshall drives snowplow in the winter; he is hoping for an early spring.
