Insufficient training, inconsistent testing, lack of oversight to be discussed at TTSAO conference
The White Paper panel at the April 10th Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) will delve into the critical gaps in the current MELT curriculum outlined in the association’s white paper. President Philip Fletcher will moderate the panel, described on the TTSAO website as addressing:
“Key issues include insufficient training hours, inconsistent testing equipment, lack of oversight, and non-compliance with MCU requirements. Panelists will discuss actionable solutions to strengthen training standards, improve driver readiness, enhance safety, address regulatory challenges, ensure industry compliance, and meet evolving expectations effectively for sustainable growth.”
