EVs will be “shoved down your throat”
“Downtown Toronto view” is that everyone can drive an EV, with no plan for charging
Canadians for Affordable Energy president Dan McTeague calls Net Zero “a fraud, and a hoax” in his latest video post.
“Starting in just a few months, January 1, 2026 all car dealers, all car manufacturers, to anyone selling vehicles in Canada, must make sure that one in five vehicles are electric vehicles,” McTeague reminds viewers. “As we’ve said before, that’s not achievable. It’s not practical. We don’t have the mining we don’t have the electrical infrastructure. We certainly don’t have the charging capacity, and we don’t have the money to subsidize their building. We don’t have the money to subsidize their purchase, and we don’t have the money to subsidize the infrastructure.”
Canadians for Affordable Energy promotes the benefits of affordable energy by informing Canadians about it, advancing policies that encourage it, and building a national constituency to support it. Affordable energy fuels job creation and benefits Canadian families and Canadian businesses.
