Driver directly responsible for death

Re: Uber ordered to pay $40 million

To the Editor:

Kudos to retired Judge Richard Stone for telling it like it is.   As for the driver in question, his conduct was criminal.  By rights, charges should have been laid against him.

As things stand, his punishment will be living with the knowledge he was directly responsible for the death of Emily Normandin-Parker.
