Csaba Vizi Verdict – Not Guilty on All Charges
by Derek Sloan
Today I have some great news for you!! Csaba Vizi, a Hungarian-Canadian trucker from Windsor, recently received the verdict from his criminal trial where he was charged with 4 criminal charges after his vicious arrest at the Freedom Convoy in 2022.
Drumroll please…he was found not-guilty on all counts! The judge even ruled his Charter Rights were violated, specifically that his arrest and the search incident to arrest were unlawful!
Csaba was advised by his lawyer to wait 30 days (the time during which the Crown could appeal) before doing any public interviews, but now that the time has passed it is safe to say that Csaba Vizi is a free man!
As great as this news is, Csaba is still suffering from mental, physical, and financial consequences from his brutal arrest in 2022.
He was one of the few truckers who stayed to the bitter end, and he says he was brutalized and injured during his arrest at the Convoy. He wrist was badly broken, he was urinating blood for 3 weeks, and he also had damage to his C-3 vertebrae in his neck. He suffers pain in his neck and diminished use of his hand to this day.
Csaba told me he had to miss nearly 11 months off work recuperating from his injuries. He also says his truck was damaged, his tools stolen, and he had to pay about $70,000 in legal fees. During this time, he was unable to pay for certain truck repairs, and now a lien is on his truck. I know that Csaba is facing significant financial hardship and needs our help! Would you please consider helping today?

Csaba grew up under a communist regime, and came to Canada to escape communism. So to see the totalitarian tendencies of our government spring up before his eyes was too much for him to bear.
You see to Csaba, controlling where you could go, where you could shop, and what medical treatments you had to take, were hallmarks of communist countries.
He came to Ottawa to fight for his family, but after meeting so many who begged him to stay, he made a solemn promise that he would not leave, even if he had to die. I was ready to die if a had to, Csaba told me.
As Csaba actually is a truck driver, he was often sought after as an expert on the Convoy. He was often seen on Tucker Carlson, Fox news and other networks and shows covering the Convoy.
To see Csaba’s brutal arrest video, that he says broke bones and damaged his neck and kidneys, click the picture below. You’ll also see him on Tucker Carlson in this clip.
Csaba has told me many interesting stories from his time under communism. His summary of the situation?
Communism is simply evil, he tells me. “I didn’t notice that as a child, because I was born into it,” he says, “but then I started seeing things here and there that opened my eyes.”
By the time he was 18 he was part of the Romanian Revolution that helped to bring down the Communist Government. As he says: “No one is going to knock on your door to give you freedom, you have to fight for it”.
When he heard about the Freedom Convoy, he knew he had to join.
When the police got to his truck on the fateful “cleanup” day, he got out of his truck, and got down on his knees by his truck. He says he told the police as he was moving and what he was doing, yet they jumped on him, and kneed him really hard over and over.
Csaba works full-time as a truck driver, and has to fund his legal and court fees by himself.
He may have gotten off without jail time, but the government still got their pound of flesh in the physical and financial penalties Csaba had to face.
He’s faced significant financial hardship after needing to pay his legal fees, as well as taking time off work to heal from his injuries, and also to attend trial. Because Csaba has been funding this himself, he’s had difficulty paying for repairs to his truck, which could impact his ability to earn an income. Please support Csaba today!
I have a brand new interview with Csaba which I am preparing now to send out to you shortly. Stay tuned for it later this week.
Csaba is one of those unique people that even after undergoing significant challenges and setbacks, is always positive and upbeat. I really admire that about him.
He says he went to Ottawa to fight for his family, but as he saw overpass after overpass covered with supporters on the way to Ottawa, he knew he had to fight for more. He said many people came to his truck as if it was a confession booth. They told him stories that touched him to his core and even made him cry. They made him promise to stay until the end. He said he took those promises very seriously. He said I will stay until the end, and I will keep my promise.
Csaba did so, and paid a steep price for it. He left communism to find a better way. Thankfully he avoided jail, but he’s still paying a price for his stand in physical, emotional, and financial scars. Thank you for helping Csaba to get his life back, one day at a time!
