Andrew Lawton’s “Freedom Convoy” book shakes up fake media and Ottawa politicians

Andrew Lawton is a brave man.

He has taken the time and invested the energy into writing a thoughtful, balanced mini-history of the 2022 Freedom Convoy before the ink is even dry on the various Parliamentary hearings and reports studying it. This means that his book essentially has had to be published as a cliff-hanger; we all know there will be more to the story. We also know will have to wait months or years to find out how the story ends.

Group planning to rally at Trudeau’s Hamilton retreat January 23rd

At least one group is planning to send busloads of demonstrators to the Justin Trudeau’s Cabinet retreat at the Hamilton Convention Centre on January 23rd.

“This week is crucial. Prime Minister Trudeau and all federal Ministers are meeting in Hamilton from January 23rd to 25th to plan out their priorities for the year. If you act now, we can win historic immigration changes. If all the Ministers at the meeting support regularization, then Cabinet can create an uncapped program through which all undocumented people and their families can apply for permanent residence as early as February,” reads the website page migrantrights.ca.

Trudeau appears “a little panicked” when asked about Freedom Convoy Anniversary

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared flustered when asked a question about the upcoming anniversary of the Truckers’ Convoy, several social media outlets report. A reporter pointed out that there was a “heightened police presence and protestors outside” and asked Trudeau if he had reflected on the meaning of the Convoy in the past 12 months.

“I don’t know….I think that’s a question you would be better to ask Pierre Poilievre, he seems a lot closer to the Convoy,” Trudeau snapped.

Improved Training and Regulations Needed for Truck Drivers to Protect Cyclists in Bike Lanes

We were recently able to win our civil lawsuit and bring the family of the late Doug Crosbie some semblance of justice and closure.
Doug was riding his bike to work in the bike lane near Dundas and Jones in Toronto. As he approached the intersection, his light was green. When he entered the intersection, a truck driver travelling the same direction to the left of the designated bike lane, turned his truck right crossing Doug’s path, and killed him.
At first glance, would one not expect this case to be seriously contested on liability. It appeared to be straightforward.

Landmark Lawsuit Slaps Legacy Media With Antitrust, First Amendment Claims for Censoring COVID-Related Content

A lawsuit filed January 10th by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and multiple other plaintiffs, alleges the Trusted News Initiative, a self-described “industry partnership” launched in March 2020 by several of the world’s largest news organizations, partnered with Big Tech firms to collectively censor online news.
“By censoring independent voices, what they’re doing is economic suppression. Antitrust is against trusts, it’s against monopolies, and what the TNI has done is essentially create a global media monopoly in the English language.”
–Mary Holland, CHD president and general counsel
In a live interview January 10th on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., chairman and chief litigation counsel for Children’s Health Defense (CHD), announced that he and several other plaintiffs filed a groundbreaking novel lawsuit making antitrust and constitutional claims against legacy media outlets.
The lawsuit targets the Trusted News Initiative (TNI), a self-described “industry partnership” launched in March 2020 by several of the world’s largest news organizations, including the BBC, The Associated Press (AP), Reuters and The Washington Post — all of which are named as defendants in the lawsuit.

Wall Street Journal breaks taboo on COVID coverage

The venerable Wall Street Journal has published numerous articles challenging the COVID orthadoxy in recent days.

“The Flaherty emails demonstrate that the federal government unlawfully coerced the companies in an effort to ensure that Americans would be exposed only to state-approved information about Covid-19. As a result of that unconstitutional state action, Americans were given the false impression of a scientific ‘consensus’ on critically important issues around Covid-19. A reckoning for the government’s unlawful, deceptive and dangerous conduct is under way in court,” reporters Jenin Younes and Aaron Kheriaty write in a January 8th news article titled “The White House Covid Censorship Machine.”
