Canadians don’t WANT electric vehicles: McTeague

Forcing EV sales is totalitarianism, former MP says

Despite the Trudeau government’s electric vehicle mandate and endless corporate handouts, it’s becoming increasingly clear Canadians aren’t interested in electric vehicles (EVs), says Dan McTeague in his September 23rd video message.

EV sales have plummeted and even automakers, like Ford Motors, are backtracking on EVs and investing further into gas-powered engines. So why does the government continue to double down on these cars?

President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, McTeague argues that it’s time to replace the government with people who are pragmatic and realistic about what Canadians want and our energy needs. A former Liberal MP who became known for his weekly “Gas Price Updates” is now the president of Canadians for Affordable Energy. (He’s also still sharing up-to-the-minute gas pricing information on X, at GasPriceWizard).
