Who is Mark Carney?

Liberals will say and do anything to stay in power, says Liberal

Who is Mark Carney? That’s a valid question that Canadians must answer about our new unelected Prime Minister.

Canada’s new Liberal leader ran a two-month long peek-a-boo campaign which revealed very little.

Just like Kamala Harris did south of the border.

All his public and media appearances were carefully scripted, and serious questions were not allowed.

The RCMP even stopped people he didn’t like from asking any questions.

A phoney new persona was presented to the public by his main supporters, Gerald Butts and Katie Telford.

Wait a minute, those were also Justin Trudeau’s spin doctors for 10 years.

And just like past leaderships, the Liberals quickly abandoned policies that were central to their government, like Climate Taxes and Excessive Capital Gains taxes – because the public didn’t like them.

Will it work?

Maybe not, if the REAL Mark Carney gets exposed.

Although we know he’s a multi-millionaire, he won’t tell us what company stock he owns that might create a conflict of interest as Prime Minister.

He said he will put those stocks in a “Blind Trust”, but we have a right to know which stocks before their disappear from public scrutiny.

He also refused to answer questions about his role in the job he had just before he ran for the Liberal Leadership.

As Chairman of Brookfield, he signed a letter agreeing to move the company from Toronto to New York after he said he had no knowledge of the move.

When his lie was exposed Carney said he “should have been clearer.”

Yes, he should have told the truth.

We also recently learned that Brookfield has several subsidiary companies, registered in Bermuda and other tax havens to distribute earnings and avoid $6 Billion in taxes.

Yet he wants to rebuild the Canadian economy.

While in Western Canada, he said that he wants to build a pipeline to the East. But in Quebec, he said that he wouldn’t.

What are we to believe?

Speaking of Quebec, during the French language Debate, Carney also proved his High School French is just not up to the job: he didn’t even understand the questions.

At one point he said he agreed with “Hamas” – the terrorist organization that’s killing Israelis. Horrified, his main rival Chrystia Freeland quickly corrected him.

What if Carney misspeaks like this with world leaders as Prime Minister in Paris or French Africa?

The media that gets $700 million a year from the Liberals largely ignored all of this.

His first act was to appoint disgraced ex-Minister Marco Mendicino as Chief of Staff. Lies and lack of judgement: not a good start.

Carney has now made it clear that he wants to copy Premier Ford and run an election against American President Donald Trump, not his Canadian Conservative opponent Pierre Poilievre.

The truth is that Poilievre has said many times that opposes Trump’s actions against Canada.

It’s a phoney non-issue, but Liberals like to always try to paint Conservatives as “anti something:”  anti-abortion, anti-health care, anti-tooth Fairies, whatever.

The Liberals know only about power, not truth.

They will say and do anything to stay in power.

Carney is just the latest shiny new object that they think will help them do that.
