Publication ban in Michael Ryan trial
Court proceedings began at the Durham Region Courthouse in Oshawa on January 4th in the case of Michael Ryan. Ryan was a Blue Line Taxi Driver, and was shot and killed on January 21, 2022.
At the outset of proceedings, the justice announced that a publication ban has been declared in this case, which means media are not to report on the details of proceedings until the ban is lifted. No date has been set for the lifting of the ban.
