Montrealers using Uber decals to drive in HOV lanes
Montreal commuters have apparently found a new way to beat rush hour: buying “Uber” decals online to display on their passenger vehicles.
Non-professional drivers are buying magnetic “Uber” logos, hoping cops will give them a pass as vehicles for hire in High Occupancy Vehicle, or HOV lanes, Taxi News has learned. Rideshare decals including both Uber and Lyft which are adhesive or magnetic are easily available for purchase online.
