At least one group is planning to send busloads of demonstrators to Justin Trudeau’s Cabinet retreat at the Hamilton Convention Centre on January 23rd.
“This week is crucial. Prime Minister Trudeau and all federal Ministers are meeting in Hamilton from January 23rd to 25th to plan out their priorities for the year. If you act now, we can win historic immigration changes. If all the Ministers at the meeting support regularization, then Cabinet can create an uncapped program through which all undocumented people and their families can apply for permanent residence as early as February,” reads the website page migrantrights.ca.
“This Cabinet retreat will be an important opportunity to build on our continued efforts to make life more affordable for the middle class and people working hard to join it, as well as seize new opportunities for Canadian workers and businesses. In 2023, we will keep working relentlessly to build a better future and a strong economy for all Canadians,” Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada said in a press release.
