Ontario wants your opinion on how to improve transportation in the Greater Golden Horseshoe

TORONTO – On June 29th, the Ontario government released a discussion paper for public feedback that will inform the province’s first transportation plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH).

The deadline for providing feedback on the Greater Golden Horseshoe Transportation Plan is August 28, 2021. The online survey, which takes about 20 minutes to complete, can be found here:

After losing at Supreme Court of Canada, Uber Canada moves to Canada from the Netherlands

Hidden Ace Brokerage is not licensed to conduct insurance business in Ontario 

According to the statement released June 8th, “It has come to FSRA’s attention that Hidden Ace Brokerage is conducting auto insurance business without a licence to sell.  FSRA encourages consumers to exercise caution if they are contacted by Hidden Ace Brokerage. Consumers are also advised not to obtain any insurance products through Hidden Ace Brokerage.”

Postmedia launching parcel delivery services

The newspaper carrier that has been delivering the paper to your door for decades may soon be delivering a lot more than just news.

Postmedia Network Inc. announced on May 20th that it is building a national distribution network for small parcel delivery. Postmedia Parcel Services, a new division of Postmedia, will leverage its extensive distribution network to expand its offerings to include trucking, sorting and distribution of small parcels beginning with a strategic partnership with Brunswick News Inc. in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and certain regions of Ontario.
