The Lead Pedal Podcast Professionals of the Highway Tour stopped in Belleville on July 16th, with host Bruce Outridge on hand to interview truck drivers, business owners and visitors to the site of sponsor Chrome Supply Warehouse.

“We are talking to drivers and people in the industry about their careers, with a special focus on the charities to which many people in the industry give their time,” says Outridge, a musician and 25 year veteran truck driver himself. “Trucking does so much for our communities, yet so few know what we do. Lead Pedal is proud to take this opportunity to tell their stories.”

Based in Burlington, Ontario, Outridge hosts the Lead Pedal Podcast and notes incredulously: “We have done over 600 podcasts to date: SIX HUNDRED. I can hardly believe it myself.”

Outridge launched The Lead Pedal Podcast for Truck Drivers in 2015. On the podcast, he talks all things trucking for people in the transportation industry, helping them improve their business and careers. Interviews with industry professionals and truck drivers, trucking information, and other features on the industry are meant to be helpful for truck drivers and those in transportation. The Lead Pedal Podcast main episodes are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with bonus material on other days.

Chrome Supply Warehouse hosted the Belleville stop of the Lead Pedal Podcast Professionals of the Road Tour.

The show is available at www.theleadpedalpodcast.com, ITunes, Stitcher, Spotify, Tunein, iHeartradio, SoundCloud, and other popular podcast platforms.

Asked “What does The Lead Pedal Podcast mean?” Outridge explains, “The Lead (pronounced – Led) stands for acceleration or fast-track of your career or business. It is a play on words and we certainly are not here promoting speeding in the industry. We are hoping this information will help you become a successful professional driver faster than if you didn’t know about many of these topics.”

To complement the Lead Pedal Podcast, and to highlight the truck-driving music he loves, Outridge then launched Lead Pedal Radio, described by one professional driver as “the only radio station worth listening to.”
